I am Sebastiaan van Zelst, an Engineering Manager for Process Mining R&D at Celonis. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology. In my career I try to bridge the gap between academic research and industry innovation. Prior to Celonis, I led the process mining research group and was the deputy head of the Data Science and AI department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology.
